Meet Clayton
Clayton was born in Gosford in 1997 and grew up local, between Budgewoi and Hamlyn Terrace, around the lakes south of Newcastle. He picked up his first plumbing apprenticeship in Wyong in 2016 and spent the next nine years across residential builds, large commercial construction, and the kind of maintenance work where you learn fast or you're out.
By the end of that run he was a commercial site foreman. The longer he spent on big sites watching corners get cut, the more he wanted to do plumbing his own way, so at the end of 2024 he started Clays Plumbing.
